Summer Flea Markets

Just a few pics from June and a wee reminder that we will be looking for July's stall holders come this Saturday. Its a short month this time so looking on the bright side it means only 3 weeks to the next market and only 4 till the start of the festival. A few people have been asking if our flea market will be off in August due to our hosting the Forest Fringe again during this years festival and I am happy to inform everyone that we will indeed be carrying on with our market on the last Saturday of August as per usual. Now we've all had our spring clear out its time to venture down (or up) to the Drill Hall to look at what old treasures you can newly acquire. This Saturday we are expecting at least one house clearance, a seasoned crafter's remnants and excess knitting needles and a fine selection of leather camera cases, sometimes including the cameras. The cafe will be in full summer style serving up delicious iced tea and coffee, fresh fruit cakes and our usual favourites... Hope to see you there!

Spring is most definitely sprung and the Drill Hall Flea Market will be welcoming the change in the weather and suppling the traders with the complementary ice lollies and our customers with a selection of fresh cakes and muffins, specials and of course our classic breakfast rolls. Come along from 10pm for a good old rummage and rake about. You never know what you'll find and there is always an array of treasures, bric a brac, clothes, bags, records and books...

Spring clear out?

Book for February Flea!

A call out to all would be stall holders! Book tomorrow from 10am to reserve your 6 x 8 foot rectangular trading post. Rid your dwelling of your unwanted items and let someone else give them a loving home. The market runs from 10 to 3. Lovely food, fresh cakes and tea and coffee served throughout. Call 555 7100 or come in to the Drill Hall Cafe.

Beat the January blues with a visit to the Drill Hall Flea Market next Saturday, lovely food, fresh cakes and 50 stalls to have a good rummage round. We have some of our favourite regulars back from their winter holidays and the usual eclectic mix of one off stall holders and seasoned traders so brush up on your bargaining skills! Doors open at 10.
