October Flea on November 1st

Due to the annual Radical Book Fair (http://www.word-power.co.uk/) the traditional last Saturday of the month flea will be postponed a week to the 1st of November. Booking as usual will start this Saturday from 10 am either in the cafe or call us on 0131 555 7100. Just in case that is too long for you to wait to visit the Drill Hall, we have a classic film night coming up on the 17th of October - showing the lovely Cary Grant in the screwball comedy 'His Girl Friday' and the following Saturday we are hosting Judy's Vintage Kilo Sale where you can buy your clothes by the bundle... Booking for September Starts Today!

September - we start taking bookings today at in just a few minutes (10am) for September 27th. Come along and sell your old stuff in the nice, bright and friendly Drill Hall. Call on 555 7100 or come along to the cafe.

Summer Flea Markets

Just a few pics from June and a wee reminder that we will be looking for July's stall holders come this Saturday. Its a short month this time so looking on the bright side it means only 3 weeks to the next market and only 4 till the start of the festival. A few people have been asking if our flea market will be off in August due to our hosting the Forest Fringe again during this years festival and I am happy to inform everyone that we will indeed be carrying on with our market on the last Saturday of August as per usual. Now we've all had our spring clear out its time to venture down (or up) to the Drill Hall to look at what old treasures you can newly acquire. This Saturday we are expecting at least one house clearance, a seasoned crafter's remnants and excess knitting needles and a fine selection of leather camera cases, sometimes including the cameras. The cafe will be in full summer style serving up delicious iced tea and coffee, fresh fruit cakes and our usual favourites... Hope to see you there!

Spring is most definitely sprung and the Drill Hall Flea Market will be welcoming the change in the weather and suppling the traders with the complementary ice lollies and our customers with a selection of fresh cakes and muffins, specials and of course our classic breakfast rolls. Come along from 10pm for a good old rummage and rake about. You never know what you'll find and there is always an array of treasures, bric a brac, clothes, bags, records and books...
